I don't think that this is the best way for us to show off our pictures. Should we just set up a blog for our scrap challenges and give everyone the password to get in? I know that there are some techie hubbies out there.....maybe we can get their thoughts?

scrapping challenge

I went to a weekend crop with Marcy, Ann and Jen. We had lots of fun and got a decent amount of layouts completed (most of us did). When I got home, I thought that I should do something so that we can continue to inspire each other, so I decided to start a little challenge. Anyone can join in, so feel free.

The beach

We are heading to Ocean City for a spring break trip. I love to travel once I get there, but prior to leaving, I always worry about everything. I worry that we shouldn't go, or the kids will get hurt, that I'll forget something important-you get the drift. I hope to get past that at some point. I even did yoga today to try and relax a little. Oh well, tomorrow at about lunchtime I'll be happy. Unless the kids decide to fight the whole ride there.

Personal trainer

Ok, so I joined the gym. I have been working out religiously at home for the past couple of years. Now I have a workout buddy (Denise) who wants to get in shape too. When I signed up for the gym, I got 2 free sessions with a personal trainer. I had my second one today. All I have to say is I need to be rich and famous. I love working out with a PT (mine's name is Carlos-he's really cute too) but I don't have the money to actually continue. Oh well, someday. Maybe I'll go play the lottery.

We are headed out to the beach this weekend with my sisters and Dad and families. We are really looking forward to hanging out with everybody and not worrying about things. I actually made an appointment for Anna and I to go do a spa day. My sisters are coming too. Anna's first spa day-how cute!

Soccer Days

We started soccer season again. Anna is playing in the U7-we moved her up a level because she wasn't getting anything from playing in U5 last season. Jonathan is in the U9. Anna is on the Knights and they won their game 2-0. Jonathan plays for the Hornets and they lost (not sure about the score). He scored one goal in the game.

I have a love-hate relationship with soccer. I love the game. I love that the kids are exercising and playing a sport. I hate when they lose. I can't help it. It is my nature. I want them to be successful in everything that they do. I just wish I could relax and enjoy their games.

First Post

Seems like everybody these days has a blog, so I decided to give it a shot. I am mainly doing this to post some of my paper crafting work, communicate with friends and be part of the 21st century.
